A 60 second introduction to

what I do

Why is mindfulness so important?

Mindfulness is an essential skill for modern life as it can help with freeing up mental space to create and manage change. I became a meditation teacher because I believe that meditation is a fantastic way to practice being mindful and to build up your "mindfulness muscles".

People often encounter barriers to using mindfulness techniques like meditation in daily life. These barriers are often a result of the media's portrayal of them and inherently inaccessible aspects of mainstream/traditional methods of practice (e.g. sitting for long periods as part of meditation).

Anti-Mindfulness Mindfulness Club

I'm fulfilling my mission by advocating "equitable mindfulness" - this is about making it possible to practice mindfulness regardless of factors like age, gender, ethnic origin, income level, location, ability. I educate people about mindfulness techniques like meditation in a way that makes them more accessible to and inclusive of more people. Click here to learn more about my approach.

I offer guided and self-guided mindfulness experiences through my business, Anti-Mindfulness Mindfulness Club. As part of these experiences, I provide guidance, suggestions and options that enable people to be mindful, their way.

Self-Guided Experiences

My Self-Guided Mindfulness Kits consist of physical and digital components that you can use to guide yourself through various activities. The activities are designed to help you explore mindfulness techniques like meditation in a way that is hands on, approachable and enables you to be mindful, your way.

Profits from my kits enable me to run pay-what-you-can (i.e free to low cost) meditation sessions for people who find it difficult to access or participate in mainstream classes/workshops. Sessions are designed to equip people with the things they need to be mindful, their way - regardless of factors like age, gender, ethnic origin, income, location, ability.

Guided Experiences

I work with groups and individuals to design and guide tailored meditation sessions.

Profits from my tailored sessions enable me to run pay-what-you-can (i.e free to low cost) meditation sessions for people who find it difficult to access or participate in mainstream classes/workshops. Sessions are designed to equip people with the things they need to be mindful, their way - regardless of factors like age, gender, ethnic origin, income, location, ability.

What is

Anti-Mindfulness Mindfulness?

"Anti-Mindfulness Mindfulness" is my approach to educating people about using mindfulness techniques like meditation in their daily lives.

My approach is underpinned by the goal of making mindfulness equitable - in other words, I want to make it possible for everyone to be mindful, their way.

There are 3 parts to learning to be mindful the Anti-Mindfulness Mindfulness way:

Be mindful, your way

Learn to be mindful in a way that considers your personal needs, abilities and preferences

My work as an equitable mindfulness advodate

In addition to educating people about being mindful their way, I also

  • Draw attention to the things that make mindfulness inequitable and share suggestions for making it more equitable

  • Showcase resources, services and programs that might be able to help people further explore mindfulness, their way

I am keen to collaborate with others who are keen to make mindfulness more equitable! DM me via the Anti-Mindfulness Mindfulness Club Instagram page or reach out to me via the form below.
